Croesoswallt Archers

Croesoswallt Archers is a friendly, inclusive target archery club based at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, Shropshire. Established in the 1950s, it welcomes people aged 10 and over, from complete beginners to experienced competitors, and offers a family-friendly community with opportunities for both recreational and competitive shooting.

The club helps newcomers get started through Have-a-Go days, taster sessions and four-week beginners’ courses, with supportive coaching and an emphasis on safe, enjoyable learning. Its programmes are suitable for individuals, families, school groups, corporate events and Duke of Edinburgh Award participants. Members can take part in club events, leagues and competitions, while the club also hosts shoots, including events with national record status.

Facilities include a 16-lane outdoor range set up for Metric and Imperial distances, plus a covered four-lane training range. Members can shoot outdoors throughout the year, and winter sessions take place in the sports hall at St. Martin’s School. Croesoswallt Archers provides a welcoming place to learn, practise and pursue archery at any level.
