Crosby Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club based at Crosby Leisure Centre in Liverpool. Established in 1974, it welcomes swimmers of different abilities and aims to help each member reach personal goals, improve fitness, and build the confidence and resilience developed through sport. The club offers a structured progression from junior club swimming through pre-squad, lower squad, and upper squad training.
Sessions develop technique across all four strokes, fitness, stamina, and competition skills, with opportunities to represent Crosby at team galas and county meets. Most swimmers join after completing Stage 7 of an ASA Learn to Swim course, while entry-level training supports those developing their strokes and confidence. Crosby is a partner club of City of Liverpool Swimming Club, providing a pathway for swimmers who progress to train and compete at a higher level.
The club describes itself as inclusive and community-minded, with a supportive atmosphere for swimmers and families. Prospective members can arrange a trial, held on Mondays at 7 p. m.
