Empowerment, Action, Meaningful Connection Become a member Know More what drives us Our Mission Crossing Borders is a non-profit civil society organisation that has helped thousands of young people worldwide develop the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to shape their own paths and become active, global citizens. By sparking inspiration, encouraging the exchange of ideas and experiences and building lasting partnerships, we cultivate a new generation of civic leaders and agents of change. Together, we’re working toward a future that’s more inclusive, egalitarian and sustainable for everyone. Education, Dialogue & Peace Building We believe that education and dialogue are essential building blocks in nurturing a new generation of ambassadors for peace. We provide opportunities for youth and educators to engage in non-formal education, storytelling and dialogue. We also facilitate migrant-led interventions and create safe spaces for co-creation, relationship-building and idea exchange. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion We foster a culture of civic engagement and community building among young global citizens. By doing so, we empower them to champion values such as diversity, equity and inclusion, both as essential measures of cultural pluralism and quality of life, as well as vital goals in their own right. Environment & Sustainability At the heart of our work are the seventeen UN Sustainability Development Goals. In particular, we consider the effects of our work in terms of the goals related to climate change, biodiversity and depletion of natural resources. At all times, we strive to include measurable goals to their effect in all our activities, projects and undertakings.
