About Crossroads Church
Crossroads Church of Aspen is a warm and welcoming community, driven by our mission, vision, and statement of faith. Inspired by Jeremiah 6:16, our name reflects our commitment to guiding our congregation on the ancient paths of faith. At Crossroads Church, we believe in representing God's family on earth and being a beacon of faith, hope, and love.
Our church thrives on the foundation of community, recognizing that we were created in the image of a God who exists in perfect community. It is through friendship, fellowship with God, and connection with fellow believers that we find rest for our souls and true adventure for our spirits. Within our congregation, we have a dedicated staff and a team of elders who ensure that our church operates smoothly and impacts lives positively.
We offer various ministries and services, including dynamic worship led by our Worship Pastor Derek Brown, impactful teachings by our Teaching and Directional Pastor Steve Woodrow, and engaging programs for children and the next generation under the guidance of Pastor Chris Henderson and Children's Ministry Assistant Alyssa Schmitz. Our mission and vision focus on building healthy, Christ-centered individuals, families, and churches. By doing so, we aspire to be a catalyst for the restoration, strength, and unity of the church in America and beyond.
In terms of our beliefs, we affirm the Trinity, acknowledging one true God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We recognize God the Father as infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, immutable, and perfect in holiness, wisdom, justice, and love. Furthermore, we embrace Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, who took on human form while never ceasing to be God, and was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
