About Crossword Publisher
Crossword Publisher is an online puzzle-making service from KAD Software, LLC, offering a free way to create printable word games using your own vocabulary. Users can choose between crossword puzzles and word searches, enter up to 20 words, and customize options such as the title, an optional subtitle, capitalization, font, and visual settings. Word searches can also be configured to allow reverse or diagonal words, while puzzles may include a square border or black background.
The service generates a PDF containing the puzzle and its answer key, making the finished activity convenient to print or email to family and friends. If some words do not fit, the PDF may include an additional page indicating this. Crossword Publisher describes its tool as useful for gifts and parties, and notes that a PDF viewer, such as Adobe Reader, is needed to view the generated files.
