Crown Point Crush

Crown Point Crush Softball Inc. is a nonprofit competitive travel softball organization founded in 2010 by Mark and Lauri Talbot. Based in Crown Point, the program began to help talented young players develop their abilities and has grown around a broader goal: supporting young women as they become confident, resilient people through softball. The organization encourages athletes to challenge themselves, build confidence through competition, learn from setbacks, and remain humble in success. Its teams and coaches work year-round, fostering teamwork, personal growth, and lasting friendships alongside athletic development.

Crown Point Crush offers youth travel softball teams, including 17U Evancho and 14U Weirich, as well as tryouts and opportunities to connect with the program. The organization also features a Home Run Club, trophy case, and highlight videos celebrating its athletes and achievements. Its commitment extends beyond the field: one team visited the Lake County Juvenile Detention Center for personal growth activities and helped sort clothing for a community center.
