About Christchurch Resettlement Services
Welcome to Christchurch Resettlement Services (CRS), a brand dedicated to supporting individuals from refugee and migrant backgrounds in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, New Zealand. Our mission is to help these individuals settle successfully in Aotearoa/New Zealand by providing a wide range of professional services that enhance their strengths and promote overall wellbeing and resilience.
At CRS, we stand in solidarity with our Muslim community following the tragic events of the 15th of March, and we gladly accept donations to further our mission.
Our services include bilingual community work, where we provide cultural, linguistic, and community-based support to clients and staff. We also offer social work for resettlement and acculturation issues, mental health support, and assistance with family violence.
Additionally, we focus on health promotion, improving social inclusion and positive health practices. We provide CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) counseling, both in clients' mother tongue or through interpreters.
Furthermore, we offer bilingual tutor and childcare support at Living Well in Christchurch, in partnership with English Language Partners.
CRS is here to provide psychosocial and mental health support for those affected by the mosque attacks.
