Cruentis is an independent fine art photography project founded in 2025 by Miguel Subtirelu and based in Germany’s Ruhr region. It creates black-and-white images of portraits, hyperrealistic figures, cranes, and the area’s industrial landscapes, with darker tones, grain, and texture central to the work. Photographs are made using a 100-megapixel medium-format digital system and analog film, and are intended to be displayed as large prints.
Cruentis offers numbered, limited-edition fine art prints produced on museum-grade Hahnemühle Baryta papers, with the paper selected to suit each image. Every print includes a signed certificate, and each work’s edition size is listed on its product page. The collections include Industry I, photographed at Landschaftspark Duisburg Nord, 35AF I, featuring cranes and haze, and ongoing portrait and figure series. Editions are not reprinted once closed.
Prints are sold in three pricing phases, with prices increasing as earlier phases sell out; editions are not discounted. Works are shipped from Germany to collectors, interior designers, and offices in the EU and worldwide.
