Cruisin’ The Coast® began in 1996 as a festival to celebrate antique, classic and hot rod vehicles, nostalgic music and related events. 374 vehicles registered that first year and in 2015 we had 7,639 registered vehicles. Car enthusiasts from 41 states plus Canada and Sweden drive to the Mississippi Gulf Coast once a year to showcase their rides and to cruise our beautiful 30-mile stretch of beachside highway with designated stops in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport, Pass Christian and Ocean Springs.

About Cruisin' The Coast
Cruisin' The Coast Inc is America's Largest Block Party, a festival that celebrates antique, classic, and hot rod vehicles along with nostalgic music and related events. Since its inception in 1996, this event has grown exponentially, with 8,308 registered vehicles in 2017. Car enthusiasts from 40 states, Canada, Germany, and Puerto Rico gather on the Mississippi Gulf Coast once a year to showcase their rides and cruise along a beautiful 30-mile stretch of beach-side highway, stopping at various designated locations.
The festival features mini-festivals at each venue, complete with live bands, food vendors, and event merchandise. Registered cruisers receive an ID card and a program with maps to plan their individual schedules. Throughout the week, participants can enjoy cruise-ins, a Salute To Our Veterans event, a car auction, a swap meet, a car corral, and a parade.
Spectators are welcome to join and engage with passionate car enthusiasts. Cruisin' The Coast Inc is made possible by the dedication and support of over 700 volunteers and numerous sponsors. The event has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Governor's Excellence in Tourism Award, the Shining Example Award for Best Festival/Event of the Year, and the Restoration Event of the Year.
