Most jams have no crash and no bottleneck. Cruze predicts stop-and-go waves before they form and guides a few drivers to smooth them out. No new hardware, no waiting on self-driving. Piloting in Texas.

About Cruze Maps
Cruze is a Texas-based, pre-seed traffic-intelligence company focused on preventing stop-and-go traffic waves before they become jams. Rather than rerouting drivers around congestion or relying on future self-driving vehicles, Cruze uses existing public traffic cameras, computer vision, anonymous connected-vehicle data, and physics-based modeling to assess traffic and identify waves forming ahead. Its driver app can then offer a few motorists an optional, voice-first suggestion to ease off the accelerator or hold a steadier speed. Drivers remain in control, and the guidance is designed to work alongside existing navigation apps.
Cruze serves fleet operators, cities, and departments of transportation. For fleets, steadier traffic may help reduce fuel use, braking, and brake wear; results are measured during pilots rather than promised in advance. For public agencies, the platform aims to improve traffic flow and make better use of existing road capacity, using cameras already in place. Cruze is developing its prediction and guidance systems and has a working detection model on live Texas feeds.
