Crystal Rig is a leading renewable energy initiative operated by Fred. Olsen Renewables, located in East Lothian, Scotland. The project, which began operations in 2003, is set to evolve significantly with the construction of Crystal Rig IV and the development of Crystal Rig Solar. Once completed, the wind farm will feature 102 turbines, capable of generating over 260 MW of clean electricity, enough to power approximately 200,000 homes.
