Crystal Valley Week is a Liberec festival celebrating the region’s glassmaking, jewellery and costume-jewellery heritage. Through exhibitions, demonstrations and creative experiences, it brings together established makers, designers, students and cultural organisations, showing how traditional skills continue to inspire contemporary art and design. The programme features glass objects, engraved glass, lighting, jewellery, glass beads and fashion, alongside projects that combine glass with flowers, nature, architecture and multimedia.

Visitors can explore exhibitions at venues across Liberec, including museums, galleries, public spaces and cultural institutions, or watch craftspeople at work. Hands-on activities invite people to try glassblowing, lampworking and glass grinding, while the Crystal Square offers live demonstrations and glass products for sale. The festival also includes a crystal market, a young glass symposium and presentations of work by emerging artists.
