CSBJ Plongée is a scuba diving club based in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France, that has been training divers since 1976. Its goal is to make underwater exploration accessible and enjoyable, helping members discover aquatic life together. The club offers training for different experience levels, with dedicated preparation resources for Levels 1, 2 and 3, as well as instructor training.
Members can learn throughout the year in nearby lakes and practise their skills on club outings to the Mediterranean and other destinations, including the Red Sea. Training also extends beyond diving: instructors introduce members to marine biology, while photography instructors help them capture underwater images and video. To lower the cost of getting started, CSBJ maintains a substantial equipment pool available for members to borrow.
The club holds theory sessions at the Maison des Associations Diederichs and trains in the Alice Milliat swimming pool in Champaret, with a separate technical premises in Bourgoin-Jallieu. Prospective members can consult activity schedules, course plans and fees
