The Canadian Society for Circumpolar Health (CSCH) is a charitable organization dedicated to improving health and social equity across the Circumpolar North. It promotes research, shares knowledge, raises awareness of health issues affecting circumpolar people, and supports efforts by circumpolar communities to achieve better health. The Society emphasizes community-led policy, services, and research, while encouraging greater responsiveness to regional health needs.
CSCH brings together members through meetings and networking opportunities. Membership also offers reduced registration for the International Congress on Circumpolar Health (ICCH) and opportunities to contribute to the Society’s publications. Through its resources, CSCH connects people with Canadian and international publications, organizations, and materials focused on circumpolar health.
The Society supports learning and collaboration by organizing or promoting events, including the International Congress on Circumpolar Health and the Northern, Rural and Remote Health Forum. It also recognizes contributions through awards and shares information about relevant organizations and initiatives. Donations help support Canadian health research activities in national and international circumpolar regions.
