CSD STiago dos Velhos

CSD S. Tiago dos Velhos, or the Social Centre for the Development of S. Tiago dos Velhos, is a community-focused institution serving the parish of S.

Tiago dos Velhos and the wider Arruda dos Vinhos area in Portugal. Established to turn a vision more than 20 years in the making into reality, the organisation created a dedicated social support centre to protect people in vulnerable circumstances and encourage active ageing. Its work is guided by inclusion and the promotion of quality of life, with the centre intended as a welcoming place for community, connection, joy and hope.

The organisation’s new building was inaugurated on 15 May, following support from community members, donors, businesses, institutional partners, the municipality, the parish council and the PARES 3. 0 programme. The available information does not specify particular care programmes or services, but describes the centre’s broader social purpose and commitment to local wellbeing.

CSD S. Tiago dos Velhos is located on Rua da Fonte in S. Tiago dos Velhos, Lisbon
