Cos'è Oltre l'Orizzonte

Oltre l’Orizzonte is a cooperative based in Brindisi, Puglia, operating a socio-educational and rehabilitative centre. Guided by solidarity and collaboration, it brings together staff, volunteers and the families of its service users, whose regular involvement supports the centre’s daily work and helps monitor its activities. The organisation offers programmes across several areas, including autonomy skills, rehabilitation, creative expression, occupational activities and social integration.

These activities are designed to encourage participation, develop abilities and give young people opportunities to contribute through practical and shared experiences. A distinctive feature of the centre is its work-based programme: participants help create finished products that are offered for sale, and the proceeds contribute to the centre’s self-financing. Oltre l’Orizzonte also shares news, events and projects, and provides information through resources such as its service charter and social report.

The cooperative welcomes enquiries from the community and maintains a solidarity shop alongside its activities. It is located on Via Nicola Brandi in Brindisi and can be contacted by phone or email
