CSIRT Italia

CSIRT Italia is the cyber incident response team of Italy’s National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), the national authority established to protect the country’s interests in cyberspace. As part of ACN, it supports the detection, analysis and response to cyber threats affecting Italy, and provides information to help organizations understand and reduce security risks.

Its public services include a channel for reporting cyber incidents, security alerts and bulletins on vulnerabilities, active exploitation, malware and other threats. CSIRT Italia also publishes operational summaries, cybersecurity guidance and information on coordinated vulnerability disclosure, working with researchers and relevant vendors to communicate identified issues. The site offers a public MISP feed and educational resources, including a cybersecurity glossary and updates on current threats.

ACN’s wider responsibilities include coordinating national cybersecurity efforts, overseeing compliance with the European NIS framework, regulating the qualification of cloud services and infrastructure for public administration, and assessing and certifying ICT products through its designated bodies.
