ČSOP Studénka

ČSOP Studénka is a local association of the Czech Union for Nature Conservation dedicated to protecting nature, landscapes, and the environment. Its work combines practical restoration projects, environmental education, and cooperation with municipalities to support sustainable development and responsible tourism in the region.

The association plans and delivers tree-planting initiatives, guiding projects from initial idea through landowner approvals, funding applications, documentation, and implementation. Its services include planting avenues, creating wooded patches and protective enclosures, establishing orchards and shelterbelts, afforesting land, and pruning trees as part of ongoing maintenance. Recent work includes a 200-pear-tree avenue commemorating geneticist J. G. Mendel and a wooded patch project near Studénka designed to increase biodiversity, improve wildlife movement, and reduce soil erosion.

ČSOP Studénka also provides environmental education for primary schools through excursions, guided walks in the Poodří region, educational tree planting, and other learning activities. The association cares for protected areas and takes part in administrative proceedings related to nature and landscape protection, aiming to leave a healthier environment for future generations.
