ČSOP Klenice

ČSOP Klenice is a local organization of the Czech Union for Nature Conservation, based in Mladá Boleslav and named after the Klenice stream. Its mission is to protect the environment, care for local ecosystems, support biodiversity and involve the public, especially young people, in conservation across the region.

The organization combines practical nature care with education and community activities. Its conservation work includes managing natural sites, planting trees and shrubs, restoring ponds and wetlands, and organizing clean-up events. Volunteers also help maintain valuable habitats and protect threatened species. Through its Ekocentrum, ČSOP Klenice offers environmental education programmes for schools, field activities, creative workshops and nature clubs for children. Public events include guided excursions, exhibitions, talks, outdoor activities and a mushroom advisory service, alongside activities for families and young people.

The organization also shares knowledge through publications, educational trails and events, and works with volunteers, schools and companies on local environmental projects.
