Centro Social e Paroquial de Carvalhosa is a community-focused social institution based in Carvalhosa, Paços de Ferreira, Portugal. It provides services for children, older people and others who need support in daily life. Its childhood services include a creche for children up to 36 months, a kindergarten for ages three to five, and a Centre for Free-Time Activities for children attending primary school. For older people and individuals who need assistance, the institution offers home support, a day centre and a social gathering centre.

The centre’s educational project, “4 Elements in 1 Planet,” encourages babies and children to connect with nature and develop respect for the Earth through experiences involving earth, air, water and fire. The project also promotes cooperation, environmental awareness and constructive social behaviour. Families can submit or renew enrolments online for the childhood services. The institution shares community news and information about its activities, plans, accounts and regulations, and acknowledges support from public bodies and social-sector organisations.
