About Land Movement
The Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC) Nepal, founded in March 1993 in Sindhupalchowk District, is a dedicated social organization focused on advocating for agrarian reform and land rights for working farmers and tillers. With over 25 years of experience, CSRC has established itself as a national resource organization, actively working in over two-thirds of Nepal’s districts, engaging with local communities and governments.
CSRC aims to raise awareness and support for comprehensive land reform through organizing efforts and action research. Their vision is a prosperous and equitable Nepal, emphasizing sustainable land management and eco-friendly agricultural practices. Core values include social and environmental justice, non-violence, empathy, mutual respect, and a focus on self-reliance and cooperation.
