About Centre For Suicide Research and Intervention
The Centre for Suicide Research and Intervention (CSRI) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing the impact of suicide and suicidal behaviors through comprehensive and integrated approaches. Our mission is to promote social change by transforming attitudes, policies, and services related to suicidal behavior. We strive to develop evidence-based community initiatives that support individuals at risk of suicide, as well as their social support systems and the wider community.
Through research, we aim to improve understanding of suicide and develop effective postvention and intervention strategies. CSRI also plays a leading role in policy and practice development, collaborating nationally and internationally to advance the field of suicidology. Our goal is to reduce the number of deaths by suicide by offering support to individuals at risk and raising awareness about suicide prevention and postvention.
