Centar za sigurnosne studije BiH (Centre for Security Studies - Bosnia and Herzegovina) is an independent research, educational, and training organization based in Sarajevo. Established in 2001, the center is dedicated to promoting informed debate on security matters and supporting democratic structures and processes in foreign and security policy. The center offers a range of products and services aimed at addressing safety and security issues in post-war Bosnia.
Their activities include research, education, and capacity-building programs. They focus on various topics such as securitization, democratic control and oversight, corruption, transparency, accountability of the security sector, police and military reforms, peace-building, conflict management, migration, and foreign policy. With a team of experienced and diverse experts in security and related studies, the Center for Security Studies BIH aims to improve the quality of governance in the country and the wider Western Balkans region.
They also foster regional cooperation, understanding, and tolerance to contribute to lasting peace and multi-ethnicity.
