The Club de Sauvetage Sportif de Gatineau (CSSG) is a prominent sports organization dedicated to promoting lifesaving sports in the Gatineau region. Founded with the aim of providing accessible and affordable aquatic sports for families, CSSG offers a range of training programs in both pool and beach settings. Targeted at youth aged 8 and older, their training sessions focus on developing lifesaving skills and swimming techniques under the guidance of certified instructors.

With programs designed for both junior athletes (ages 8-14) and senior athletes (15 years and up), CSSG emphasizes the spirit of camaraderie and community involvement. The club hosts winter training sessions beginning January 5, 2025, as well as various competitions. CSSG is accredited by the Lifesaving Society of Canada, ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards in their training programs. Join the CSSG to not only learn vital lifesaving skills but also to be part of a supportive community of athletes, parents, and volunteers dedicated to success in aquatic sports.
