CSS Hrabyně

Centrum sociálních služeb Hrabyně is a state-funded organization established by the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Its mission is to support adults over 18 with physical disabilities who have reduced independence and need regular assistance from another person. The centre provides residential social care through three main services: a home for people with disabilities, a social rehabilitation centre and respite care.

It also offers rehabilitation, with treatment options that include shockwave therapy and, more recently, virtual reality exercises designed to help clients practise movement, coordination and cognitive skills. Activities are tailored to individual needs and complement standard rehabilitation care. The centre supports prospective clients and their families with information about applying for admission, while its public-facing resources include service details, downloadable documents and a virtual tour.

Alongside care, CSS Hrabyně organizes social, cultural and recreational activities that encourage participation and shared experiences. Its work combines practical assistance, rehabilitation and opportunities for meaningful engagement, with the aim of helping clients maintain abilities, wellbeing and quality of life
