Centrum sociálnych služieb TAU Turie

CSS TAU Turie is a public social services centre operated by the Žilina Self-Governing Region in Slovakia. It supports adults with disabilities through services designed to respect each person’s individuality, strengthen independence and create a safe, welcoming environment in cooperation with families and the community. Its residential social services include year-round and weekly care, as well as outpatient support.

The centre also operates a specialised facility for adults with specified conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, autism and schizophrenia, and provides supported housing for people who can live more independently with supervision. Community-based services include support for independent living, specialised social counselling for people affected by Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia and their relatives, and transport for people facing social or health-related barriers. Respite care is also available for people who care for someone with a severe disability.
