About CTBI
CTBI, serving the churches of Britain and Ireland, is dedicated to fostering unity among Christian communities. Working in collaboration with the four national Christian unity organizations, CTBI offers a wide range of resources and support for local Churches Together groups, as well as churches, agencies, networks, and bodies associated with CTBI. With a history rooted in the Swanwick Declaration, CTBI strives to bring churches together and promote effective communication.
They address various social issues such as asylum and refugees, criminal justice, poverty, equality, racial justice, and trafficking, in their pursuit of the common good. Additionally, CTBI engages in mission and unity initiatives, including the Mission Theology & Apologetics Group, interfaith dialogue through the Inter Faith Theological Advisory Group, and collaborations with organizations like Christian Aid and the Council of Christians & Jews.
