Colliery Training College (CTC) is a leading artisan training centre that offers accredited programs in various engineering trades. With accreditations from all SETAs, the QCTO, and NAMB, CTC ensures high-quality training for apprentices. Established in 1965, CTC initially focused on the mining sector but has now expanded its offerings to cater to a broader audience.

CTC provides comprehensive training in trades such as Auto Electrical, Electrical, Millwright / Electro Mechanician, Fitting and Turning, Diesel Mechanic, and more. Students at CTC undergo rigorous theoretical and practical training, following a modular and self-paced learning approach. The college also offers additional courses and encourages individuals and companies to enhance their skills according to their specific needs.

As a testament to their commitment to excellence, CTC holds partnerships and Memoranda of Understanding with relevant SETAs. Their mission is to meet the technical training and emergency preparedness requirements of their customer partners while promoting diversity and staff development. Located in Emalahleni (Witbank), CTC boasts modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment for engineering and mining-related training.
