About CTDGA
The Central Texas Dairy Goat Association (CTDGA) is a community of dairy goat owners in North and Central Texas. It supports members through educational activities, youth programs, and opportunities to connect newer owners with experienced goat keepers. The association focuses on American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) programs and hosts ADGA-sanctioned shows each year.
CTDGA members may take part in programs such as ADGA PLUS, milk testing, and linear appraisal. The organization also encourages young people to participate in the dairy goat community by sponsoring several youth shows annually. Its events include the Spring Fling Doe Show, featuring open and youth competition, as well as a Buck Show; the association also lists clinics and workshops among its activities. The Spring Fling is held in Mineral Wells, Texas, with open rings and a youth ring.
CTDGA shares event updates through its website and Facebook page and welcomes dairy goat owners interested in learning, competing, or becoming involved.
