About CT Landmarks
Connecticut Landmarks (CTL) is a state-wide network of eleven significant historic properties in Connecticut. Founded in 1936 as the Antiquarian & Landmarks Society, CTL's museums offer a starting point for a deeper exploration and greater appreciation of the Connecticut experience. With properties that span four centuries of New England history, including the Bellamy-Ferriday House & Garden, the Butler-McCook House & Garden, and the Isham-Terry House, CTL portrays real-life stories through its houses, collections, and programs, making history come alive.
The organization's mission is to inspire an understanding of our complex past, while their vision is to create a state where this understanding inspires unity among its people. As a proud member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, CTL aims to bring diverse stories to the forefront and engage visitors in dialogue regarding history, its impact on the present, and how they can shape the future. Visitors can expect to be challenged and encouraged to consider their place in history and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable future
