CT United Hockey

CT United is a youth hockey development program serving players in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Based at Terry Conners Ice Rink in Stamford, the organization offers a spring training season designed to help players build skills while still participating in traditional spring sports. Its program is independent of winter hockey programs and emphasizes individual development, inclusive participation, and enjoyment of the game.

The nine-week season features 18 structured practices, with two 60-minute ice sessions each week and a set schedule. Players train in skill-based groups at stations covering hockey fundamentals, battle drills, and small-area games. Power-skating instruction is provided during the season, while goalies receive focused support from a head goalie coach and an assistant. Practices also include scrimmages to develop game awareness and decision-making.

CT United’s experienced coaches work with players of all levels in a supportive environment. Teams may participate in the Shelton Shoot-Out and, where interest allows, another local tournament; tournament participation is optional.
