Cubbit is a European cloud storage software company based in Bologna, Italy, focused on helping organisations retain control of their data while reducing storage costs. Its geo-distributed technology encrypts, fragments, and replicates data across multiple locations chosen by the customer, supporting data sovereignty, resilience, and reduced vendor lock-in. Cubbit offers two S3-compatible object storage products.

DS3 Cloud is ready-to-use storage hosted in partners’ certified data centres and scales from terabytes to petabytes. DS3 Composer is customisable, software-defined storage that organisations can deploy within their own infrastructure or chosen environment, with deployments starting at 200 TB. The platform supports use cases including backup, disaster recovery, active archiving, video storage, AI data lakes, and Kubernetes storage.

Cubbit serves enterprises and service providers across sectors such as healthcare, aerospace, defence, education, telecommunications, media, manufacturing, and the public sector.
