CUC Athlétisme

Clermont Université Club Athlétisme (CUC Athlétisme) is an athletics club offering training, competition and community sporting activities. Based at the outdoor track at the Cézeaux complex, the club welcomes participants from young children through to masters-level athletes. Its training covers sprinting, road and trail running, physical preparation, and, where sessions are available, specialist disciplines such as jumps and throws. The club also supports athletics participation through competitions, events and opportunities for members to serve as judges and officials.

A highlight of its event programme is the Course des Volcans, a nature run held in the Parc des Volcans d’Auvergne. Organised by CUC Athlétisme for more than 40 years, the event is presented as a friendly race set in a distinctive landscape. Club news and activities include track meets, road races, marathons, trail competitions and youth activities. With training groups, competition information, performance records and athlete stories, CUC Athlétisme brings together runners and other athletes across a range of ages and disciplines.
