Credit Union Development Association (CUDA) is an Ireland-based, member-owned development association serving 50 progressive credit unions. Incorporated in 2003, it works to improve the financial, social and environmental well-being of credit union members and their communities. Its purpose is to give member credit unions a strong voice, practical leadership and value-creating solutions that strengthen strategic and operational capabilities.
CUDA’s modular services are designed with members to fit their businesses and support compliance. Its representation and advocacy work engages with legislators, regulators and suppliers to promote fair treatment, new business opportunities and competitive procurement. Digital and lending solutions include digital marketing, fintech enablers, CRM, HIVE and lending frameworks for business, mortgage and home improvement loans. CUDA also provides training and professional development for staff, managers and boards; strategic planning advice and workshops; and legal, compliance and governance support, including expertise, IT solutions and documentation.
Delivered through collaborative, not-for-profit shared services, these offerings help credit unions access support and capabilities that may be difficult to develop independently.
