Česká unie Dento Karate-do

Česká unie Dento Karate-do (ČUDK) is an organization that brings together people interested in studying traditional Karate-do. It presents Dento Karate-do as an Okinawan martial art and a path to personal development through the serious practice of technique. Its approach emphasizes balanced physical and mental growth, self-control, concentration, respect, and practical self-defense. Training draws on traditional techniques including blocks, punches, strikes, kicks, joint locks, chokes, and throws, often combined with related movements.

ČUDK supports a network of affiliated clubs across the Czech Republic, including groups in Brno, Kroměříž, Bojkovice, Svitavy, Uherské Hradiště, Prague, Letovice, and other communities. The organization also shares information about events and training, and provides materials for students. Its website covers the principles and history of Dento Karate-do, as well as kihon, kata, kumite, philosophy, and related topics. Additional resources include club listings, a dan-grade register, a trainers register, documents, a gallery, and information about courses. Through these activities, ČUDK helps students and instructors connect with traditional Karate-do study.
