CUISINES ALAIN

Cuisines Alain, also known as Cuisines & Intérieurs d’Exception, is a kitchen and interior design business based in Besançon, in France’s Doubs region. Since 1975, it has been the exclusive local concessionaire for German luxury kitchen brand Poggenpohl. Led by Christophe Arminot, who took over in 2012 after 25 years with the business, the company designs and coordinates complete residential and professional interiors, from spatial planning and fittings to decoration.

Its services include kitchen design, interior layouts, furnishing selections, lighting, appliances, and guidance on finishes and other elements of a project. The team aims to balance aesthetics and functionality while taking clients’ tastes, values, available space, and budget into account. Its approach emphasizes carefully selected materials, natural light, considered design, and, where appropriate, minimalist interiors.

Cuisines Alain works with a range of premium brands, including Leicht, La Cornue, Lacanche, Miele, Gaggenau, V-ZUG, THG Paris, Vibia, USM, Riva 1920, Arper, and Albed. Its showroom and design office are located at 24 avenue Carnot in Besançon.
