About Culture Next Network
Culture Next, established in 2017, is dedicated to supporting European Capital of Culture candidates, whether awarded or not. The organization's mission is to foster more ECoC programs in European cities, shaping a long-term vision for local development through culture and creativity. Culture Next leverages the experiences and collaborations from ECoC bids to assist all cities in implementing culture-led local development initiatives.
By promoting cultural programs, the network aims to address European challenges effectively. With a membership of 34 cities from 19 countries, Culture Next organizes conferences, capacity-building activities, and collaborations among member cities. The network strives to be a voice in shaping European cultural policies and extending cultural cooperation frameworks.
