Cúnehearen

C.V. De Cúnehearen is a carnival association founded in 2008 during an evening at the King of Denmark pub. Its origins lie in informal celebrations around the eleventh day of the eleventh month, when founding members decided to organize carnival activities on a larger scale themselves. The association brings people together through seasonal celebrations, events, and a shared carnival identity, summed up in its motto, “Because we are the Cúnehearen.”

The organization’s website helps members and visitors follow its activities, with an annual agenda for 2026–2027, information about upcoming events, and a gallery celebrating past carnival princes. The prince gallery records representatives from successive seasons, alongside their titles and personal mottos. Photo albums offer glimpses of events including children’s carnival, the princes’ ball, Kleintje Carnaval, a New Year’s reception, a Christmas fair, and the prince presentation. Visitors can also explore the association’s song and find contact information through its online portal. By combining event programming, photographs, and a record of its carnival leaders, C.V.
