Cunstwerke

C.unstwerke is the art practice and online gallery of Hannover-based artist Claudia Borkowski, born Keller. Active as an artist since 1994, she combines her background as a graphic designer with a free, intuitive approach to painting. Her work explores the space between clarity and freedom, planning and emotion, with layered compositions shaped by both control and chance. Since 2026, Borkowski has also been represented by Singulart, a curated online gallery.

The collection features original, hand-painted works, primarily acrylic paintings on canvas, alongside pieces made with oil, oil pastel and mixed media. The artworks range from abstract, expressive compositions to figurative subjects, including portraits, nudes and explorations of mood and movement. Many pieces are presented with their dimensions and availability; some are sold individually, while selected works are offered only as pairs or series. For certain designs, including “Der Fremde” and “Afro Queen,” digitised canvas prints can be requested in specified sizes and colour variations, with each print subsequently worked on in acrylic.
