Dementia Australia

Cuppa Time for Dementia is a fundraising campaign run by Dementia Australia, inviting people across Australia to support those living with dementia, as well as their carers and families. Each October, participants host a morning or afternoon tea at home, work or another venue, bringing together friends, relatives or colleagues to share a cuppa and raise funds. Contributions help Dementia Australia meet growing demand for services, support and research.

Taking part is free and involves three simple steps: register, plan an event and spread the word. Hosts receive a complimentary kit with practical and festive materials, including trivia questions, bunting, food labels, a fundraising poster, a donation box, stickers and a recipe card. The campaign also offers resources such as an event checklist, fundraising toolkit, recipes and FAQs to help hosts prepare. Individuals and organisations can sign up, and cafes or other venues can get involved. Cuppa Time provides a friendly way to build community and raise awareness while supporting people affected by dementia.
