About – Curious Cub
Curious Cub is a trusted toy brand in India that caters to the developmental needs of children. Founded in 2021 by Shreya Mittal, an alumna of LSR and MIT, we understand the immense responsibility of parenting and aim to provide the best support for your child's development journey. Inspired by our own daughter Nyra, we embarked on a quest to find the most effective ways to nurture young minds.
Extensive research on Brain Development led us to discover that 80% of brain development occurs by the age of 3, while children typically start preschool at 2 years old. This revelation motivated us to curate a range of materials and activities that promote brain development from an earlier age. At Curious Cub, we prioritize quality and sustainability.
Our toys are crafted with natural materials like wood and fabric, free from batteries, plastics, or electronics. We also uphold child safety by using only water-based paints that are non-toxic. Each toy is meticulously handmade by our local artisan partners in India.
