Curlew Escape

Curlew Escape is a luxury private yacht charter business based at Manly Boat Harbour in Brisbane, offering sailing experiences across Moreton Bay and nearby islands. Its Bavaria Cruiser 45 yacht, designed by BMW DesignWorks USA and naval architect Bruce Farr, combines spacious comfort with sailing performance. Day charters accommodate up to 12 guests, while overnight trips take up to six, with four cabins, three toilets and three showers.

Guests can book cruises from two to ten hours, overnight breaks and multiday mini-cruises. Options include sunset sails, birthday and hens’ parties, family gatherings, corporate team-building events, wedding arrivals, ash scattering and yacht-race spectating. Destinations include Peel Island, Moreton Island, Tangalooma and Lucinda Bay. Activities may include sailing, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and beach sports, depending on the cruise and conditions. Guests can join in the sailing or relax onboard, and may bring their own food and alcohol or arrange catering platters. Curlew Escape also offers seasonal events and a bad-weather rescheduling policy.
