Curling

Svenska Curlingförbundet, the Swedish Curling Association, is the national organisation for curling in Sweden. Working with districts and local clubs, it supports the sport and helps people discover opportunities to play, from beginners and families to experienced competitors. The federation provides information on finding a nearby club, getting started, different formats of the game, and current competitions and results.

Curling offers team play, individual figure competitions, mixed doubles and inclusive wheelchair curling. The association also shares calendars, live-result and livestream links, and news about Swedish athletes and teams. Its activities include supporting clubs, delivering education and camps, and coordinating national teams competing at international championships. Resources for members and clubs include a video library featuring interviews with Olympic and Paralympic players, as well as information on anti-doping responsibilities.

The federation celebrates achievements across the sport and recognises the work of clubs and leaders through events such as Curlinggalan. With a history dating back to 1916, Svenska Curlingförbundet brings together Sweden’s curling community and promotes a sport combining physical activity, communication and tactical challenge.
