Curran Foods Ltd is an independent wholesale food distributor based in Waterford, serving customers across the South of Ireland. The company supplies ambient, chilled and frozen foods, alongside non-food goods, and has developed a broad product portfolio since beginning operations in 1962 as Pat Curran Frozen Foods, initially distributing mainly ice cream from Tramore. In 1988, after expanding its chilled and frozen range, the business moved to purpose-built Waterford premises, increasing its capacity.
It later launched Express Cuisine to serve the growing in-store deli, bakery and forecourt food-to-go markets. Its ranges include The Kitchen Pantry, Sweet Treats, poultry products and options for special diets. Introduced in 2018, the CF Kitchen poultry range offers premium products at affordable prices.
Curran Foods continues to invest in its operations and sustainability: in 2025, it installed a 360-panel solar array capable of generating up to 200kW of clean energy, as well as an on-site electric vehicle charging station. The company serves wholesale customers with a varied selection of food products for different needs
