Founded in 2023, it connects independent firms across the United States and beyond, combining technology, talent, capital, and strategic support to help members scale while preserving their leadership, identity, and independence. The network includes firms serving clients across many industries and offering accounting, advisory, audit and attest, client accounting, and tax services.

Current supports partner firms through technology transformation, including automation, AI, and streamlined workflows; global delivery capacity; talent recruitment, development, and succession planning; and disciplined mergers and acquisitions. It also helps firms strengthen marketing and market positioning, generate organic growth, collaborate across the network, and expand advisory services. These capabilities are designed to improve capacity and margins, support client growth, and build long-term firm value. Current reports a network of 54 firms, more than 2,500 employees, and operations across 39 states and four countries. Current itself does not provide services to clients; its network firms operate under an alternative practice structure, while separate subsidiaries provide certain non-attest services.
