About Cusanuswerk
Cusanuswerk is the official scholarship foundation of the Catholic Church in Germany, dedicated to supporting exceptional young talents through a range of financial and ideological programs. Since its inception, Cusanuswerk has fostered over 2,000 gifted individuals, including trainees, students, and doctoral candidates, by providing them with monthly stipends, study cost allowances, and a rich array of educational activities aimed at personal growth. The foundation offers scholarships for various educational levels, from vocational training to doctoral studies, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary learning through its comprehensive educational and spiritual programs.
Notably, Cusanuswerk has recently expanded its offerings to include financial support for apprentices, starting in summer 2024. Participants can benefit from focused retreats at Cusanushaus in Bonn-Mehlem, promoting a balanced approach to academic and spiritual development. Recognized for its excellence, Cusanuswerk has received accolades such as the Ludwig-Erhard-Preis, underlining its commitment to nurturing future leaders in service to community and society
