Custom Gear Modifications (CGM) creates customizable equipment for mobile hunting, with a focus on saddle hunting and practical gear modifications. Founded in a do-it-yourself spirit, the company aims to help hunters adapt equipment to specific needs, including customers who may not be able to make modifications themselves. CGM also develops original products and invites customers to discuss custom projects.
Its offerings include climbing and saddle-hunting equipment, storage solutions, straps, and accessories. Products listed on the site include the THO Climbing Stick, LBS Panel, CGM Moccasin, CGM Light Yoke, Pack Storage Insert, BLITZ Bag, Scouting Belt, and SOP Leg Loops, as well as items such as crotch rings and a stubby tender. Availability varies, and some products may be out of stock.
CGM says most sewn items are made to order because of the customization options, rather than mass-produced and kept on shelves. The company describes its gear as affordable and high quality, and offers a 30-day tryout return policy for items returned in like-new condition, along with a one-year manufacturer-defect policy.
