Customized Moving

Customized Moving is an independent moving consultancy that helps individuals, families, and organizations make informed relocation decisions. Drawing on more than 40 years of industry experience, the company provides professional guidance designed to reduce the stress and confusion of moving. It does not sell moves; instead, it advocates for clients by helping them clarify their needs, compare moving companies and options, understand contracts, and avoid costly mistakes, hidden fees, and misleading quotes. The company says its guidance comes at no additional cost to consumers.

Customized Moving offers consumer services for people arranging a move independently, as well as corporate relocation programs for businesses and organizations, including real estate agents, hospitals, and not-for-profits. Its industry consulting services support moving businesses, reflecting the company’s focus on customer development and service. Customized Moving also shares information through its blog, video content, and the book Moving Is Stressful. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the company invites customers to contact its team to discuss moving support and relocation needs.
