We are often blessed with lovely weather and being situated so close to Dunkery Hill Gate, we couldn't wish for better scenery too!

Cutcombe Horse Show Society organises the Cutcombe Horse Show & Gymkhana, a friendly, family-oriented local event held near Wheddon Cross, close to Dunkery Hill Gate. Created to give young people in the area the opportunity to compete with their ponies and to raise funds for the local school, the show has also raised thousands of pounds for charities and good causes in the Wheddon Cross area.
The programme includes horse and pony showing, popular Mountain and Moorland classes, show jumping and an afternoon gymkhana. Visitors can also enjoy a Fun Dog Show, a fancy dress competition and a parade by the Minehead Harriers in the main ring. Homemade refreshments and a barbecue are available on site, making the event a relaxed day out for competitors and spectators alike.
The society shares event information, location details, sponsorship information and competition results through its website, with updates also available on its Facebook page. The show depends on volunteers who contribute their time before and during the event.
