About CUTRIC-CRITUC
CUTRIC, the Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium, is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing zero-carbon mobility and transportation solutions. They spearhead and launch technology and commercialization projects that promote next-generation sustainable transportation options across Canada. With a focus on low-carbon smart mobility technologies, CUTRIC aims to make Canada a global leader in this field.
CUTRIC offers a range of products and services to support the transition to zero-emission transit. They provide funding and planning services through the Zero Emission Transit Fund, helping transit agencies meet their decarbonization goals. They also develop simulation tools to help agencies predict the operation of electric buses, hydrogen fuel cell buses, and autonomous smart vehicles in real-time.
Additionally, CUTRIC undertakes research and consulting projects, with a particular emphasis on battery-electric bus integration and the development of the Canadian ZEB Database. They also organize events such as the Zero Emission Transit & Mobility Conference and the Low Carbon Smart Mobility & Smart Rail Technology Conference to bring together industry experts, policymakers, and thought leaders to discuss opportunities and challenges in the sector. Joining CUTRIC as a member provides access to a network of transit innovation leaders, exclusive content, meetings, discounts, and training opportunities.
